    Positive Outlook

I have been working at VIA Metropolitan Transit (San Antonio) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good job... minimum supervision period. You do work with the disabled all types.. If you are a people person this is a great job. A dollar-an-hour raise for your first four years full benefits everything

    Cons

Split shitf,s you change your shifts every 3 months

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the split shifts period. You work 11-hour days but only get paid for 8. Only good if you live close to downtown

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at VIA Metropolitan Transit (San Antonio) in May 2017.

    Interview

Interview with John Kipp plus their security engineer and a BA. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Screened phone interview first. Then came in for a face to face. Infrastructure is in need of an overhaul. Technology mostly past end of life and manual. Looking for a well seasoned administrator. Third party recruiter didn't properly handle the exchange of information. Salary range was low and benefits information was not disclosed. Told to apply for position on line to receive offer letter and benefit information. Position required on call 24/7, 7 days a week.

    Interview Questions

    • General windows questions, some SCCM but nothing too technical.   Answer Question
    • Why are you wanting to leave you current position?   Answer Question
