    Pros

Room for growth, promotes from within, amazing leadership team. There are employees here that have been with the company for 10, 20 and 30 plus years. That is a testament to the vision of the leadership that created an atmosphere that promotes a sense of ownership through the ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) which is a company sponsored retirement plan. Through ESOP we are owners and not employees.

    Cons

No company is perfect. No cons worth mentioning.

    Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Vacation Village Resorts (Newport News, VA) in May 2016.

    Interview

The interview process was upbeat and relaxed. The interview was held in the actual calling center area before the shift began. I didn't feel nervous as with other interviews. The interviewer was friendly because he really wants to hire people and it was if he was hoping each person had just basic enthusiasm that could be further improved for the job.

    Interview Questions

    • Demonstrate how you would speak to a potential vacationer over the phone. The key is to be upbeat and lively as you are presenting a vacation opportunity. Even if the interviewee is shy, for that moment when your acting out an actual call for your interview, be upbeat, positive, project your voice. They are big on the three E's: Excitement, Enthusiasm and Energy.   1 Answer
