I have been working at Valet Park of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Extremely flexible, accommodating, and understanding. I have been with VPA on and off for the past 6 years and they have always been able to accommodate my schedule and work around my other obligations. They have given me as many, or as few hours as I require depending on what's going on in my life. During my time at VPA, I have moved around the country at different points to pursue other ventures, and they have always welcomed me back with open arms when I have come back home and needed work. It's been great knowing that I have a job that I enjoy and make good money at waiting for me if things don't happen to pan out how I expected. All in all, my time with VPA has been thoroughly enjoyable and they have been there through the ups and downs in my life, and have been understanding and welcoming through all of it.

    Cons

The only cons I have encountered are just scheduling and payroll issues from time to time, but this is just because of common human error. Any problem I've had is always quickly resolved by just a phone call or an email.

    Advice to Management

Management here is great. Most of the managers are some of the kindest, and genuinely good people I've encountered. I have met numerous managers at VPA that I now consider friends. Keep doing what you're doing!

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Valet Park of America (Springfield, MA).

    Interview

Application process took 4 days due to a lot of applications coming in. Interview was quite interesting, just be honest and be yourself. Lots of questions about customer service and how do you handle this and that situation. If you cannot use fancy words, make it simple and understandable.

My friend got a test drive from them and they made him drive around and parallel parking. I didn't have to take it. Reason? I have no idea, maybe because my driving record is clean.

Tip: don't lie about your driving history. They can check your background through DMV.
