I have been working at Valorem full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Valorem management has taken the time to build a foundation to build upon. Given the continued 'hyper growth' mode, having this foundation will help as unanticipated situations are encountered.

Leadership is focused on employee satisfaction and spends an inordinate amount of time on efforts to ensure the well being of the team.

Open to new ideas, hiring experienced managers to fill gaps, willing to change if something's not working.

    Cons

The pace is fast. Management does not have all the answers. Customers are demanding (where are they not). Perhaps a bit too much chaos, but given the growth, it is to be expected.

    Advice to Management

Continue the improved communication channels! Keep hiring strong, experienced leaders and consultants. This is a great place to work!

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Valorem.

    Interview

Interviewed with the HR recruiter on the phone initially. Was asked to complete an online "cultural fit assessment". Then had a phone interview with the hiring manager. There was no follow up scheduled for an in person after 3 weeks, and I had to follow up directly to be told they were not interested.

    Interview Questions

    • Some questions were behavioral interview questions. Also asked about "HR responsibility" experience.   1 Answer
