Mission: Vanderbilt's mission is to advance health and wellness through preeminent programs in patient care, education, and research.
I worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center full-time (More than a year)
I experienced a great work environment with diverse patient population. The unit I worked on had excellent management and intelligent, hardworking nurses and nursing assistants. I only left because I was moving. Otherwise, I would have stayed forever. My coworkers were kind and always willing to help in anyway possible. I highly recommend working here.
The patients are usually higher risk patients which can lead to a high stress work load at times.
Advice to Management
The management in obstetrics is incredible and so compassionate. As an employee you will always feel valued and heard. I could not have asked for anything better.
I applied online. I interviewed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (Nashville, TN).
Panel Interview. Interviewers remained professional yet made me still feel comfortable. Residency program sent PowerPoint explaining the interview beforehand and the interview stayed true to outline on PowerPoint. Be able to present clinical experiences.
