Mission: Vanderbilt's mission is to advance health and wellness through preeminent programs in patient care, education, and research.
I worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (More than 3 years)
Amazing colleagues and mentors. I have never worked for another organization or team that cares so much about learning and developing their employees. It was an embarrassment of riches when it came to mentors and leadership standards and well as culture of caring about the job and adding value to a community. Additionally, it is great that there are no forced holidays. If you want to save up your vacation time and not use it during labor day, or thanks giving but save it for a different day, you are able to do so.
Low pay compared to other companies in the industry.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (Nashville, TN) in January 2016.
Great. The interviewers were friendly and interested in my experience. I had a chance to ask questions and felt like they were honest about pros and cons about the organization. Overall a really great experience
