The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Venables Bell & Partners.

    Interview

The process took 3 months and the HR team was laughably uncommunicative to the point that I thought I was going to get a call from Ashton Kutcher saying that I'd been Punk'd. I had 3 phone interviews and 3 in-person interviews with a total of 8 people (including one time when HR got the date wrong and I came all the way into the city during rush hour for a 9am interview for nothing). Between every round I would send emails to the people in HR and never heard responses until they had an update. Never once did I get a simple acknowledgment of my emails. I was told that I was at the top of their list and that they had to work out some internal things before pulling the trigger. After 3 months, I get a 1 sentence email saying that I did not get the job.

I have no issue with being turned down for a job. That happens all the time. I soon thereafter went to another agency in town. But this HR team had 0 regard for the fact that people applying for jobs are actual people with feelings and their livelihoods are riding on these decisions and to keep them completely in the dark is irresponsible
