Mission: Helping our clients to understand and manage healthcare risk lies at the heart of everything we do.
I worked at Verisk Health (More than a year)
periodical training and education, updates, pay rate was competitive, accessibility to records and available work,
very large charts/records, charts/records handwriting, not EMR, system shut down times, no incentives or bonuses
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verisk Health (Durham, NC).
3 stage interview process:
1. Was phone interview with hiring manager
2. Was interview with the team I would be working with
3. Was interview with hiring manager plus directors, and other managers, and principal engineers.
The phone interview had a coding assessment which basically was to assess my logic and reasoning, as well as my ability to handle errors on the fly.
The interview with the team was for them to gain a understanding of who I was and what I knew and understood in the world of engineering from a QA perspective.
The interview with a group/panel questioned my leadership and understanding of the position and what the position consisted of; basically if I had the chops. At the end of the day. I didnt beat around the bush. I was not uptight. I was honest. I was straight forward with all my answers, and stayed confident.
