I worked at Verity full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-tremendous opportunities for learning and kick starting your career
-excellent perks, bi-annual hikes, bi-annual bonuses (for Associates and above)
-chances (very little though and depends upon Mgmt's discretion and a little upon your performance and attitude) of London/New York/Chicago/HongKong/Singapore internship opportunities (it's mostly a bait)
-no gender-based discrimination when it comes to ensuring quality and timely delivery of work

    Cons

    -expect no time for yourself
-no smartphones allowed inside, although improves work's efficiency, decreases your ability to do anything extra once you're back home after working hours
-extremely high level, single-minded dedication is expected thereby you're always kept on your toes hopping from one project to another
-extreme work pressure breaks your breathing rhythms, your eating habits/timings, your peace of mind, cuts you off of your dear ones (happens, trust me)
-every 3rd Saturdays are working EXCEPT ANY ADDITIONAL BENEFITS line cab fare/lunch/salary/leave reimbursements
-login timings are fixed (~9.30-9.45am) but logouts are open ended and depend mostly on on-site bankers' discretion
-3 months long notice period (for those who serve more than 1 year there)
-45 days (max) of no-pay working days once you resign; this amount will be credited into your account after ~45days min. - e.g., if you put down papers on 15June, your last working day will be 16Sept and you'll not be paid Aug-Sep salary till you leave...and that Full & Final Settlement will be credited to your acc after min 45 days (on around 1-10 Nov)
-below average food in cafeteria; this adds up to the pressure and bad moods
-if unfortunately you land up in the bad teams, be prepared to see others enjoy TT/foozball etc from time to time, while you keep slogging and at the time of hikes/bonuses, get the average ones, even lower than those playing - choice of teams is not yours, of course

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees as they take care of your client which in turn takes care of you guys - Butterfly Effect, you see.
