Viator has offices across three continents in four of the world’s most exciting cities: San Francisco, Las Vegas, London and Sydney.
The Viator Headquarters is currently located in the SoMa district and surrounded by countless restaurants, luxury hotels, the Museum of Modern Art and Yerba Buena Gardens. City hotspots like Union Square, the Embarcadero and AT&T Park (home of the world-champion Giants) are a short walk away. In early 2016, Viator will be relocating to a larger office space just a few blocks away in what is known as the “Multimedia Gulch,” with close proximity to BART and CalTrain. The new space features one of the most desirable tenant-only roof decks in San Francisco.
TripAdvisor’s Soho office is home to the Viator staff in London. Fantastic restaurants and cafes line the streets up to the office’s central Soho Square location. Adjacent to the West End theatre district, the area is also awash in culture and nightlife. The office sits across from Soho Square park, but the office roof deck is a popular favorite for a fresh air break or lunch al fresco.
The inner suburb of Surrey Hills houses our Sydney office, as well as a plethora of restaurants, cafes, pubs and Sydney’s latest phenomenon—pop-up bars. Its historical streets and alleyways are lined with heritage buildings and converted warehouses that are home to design firms, marketing agencies and new media companies.
Our Las Vegas office sits 15 minutes north of the Strip and is a quick drive from famous sites like the Bellagio, the Stratosphere and the Fremont Street Experience, as well as the new hub of cultural and artistic performance, the Smith Center.
Incredible amount of freedom to lead my projects, low level of bureaucracy. Great level of support from my manager, VP and colleagues. After working at several leading tech companies, not being micro managed and not having to drink the tech koolaid is incredibly refreshing.
Sometimes a lack of resources in engineering, stuff can take a bit longer to fix or develop but with Viator and Tripadvisor doing so well, that is only a matter of time before we grow even more.
