    I worked at Virginia Commonwealth University part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    I was working as a student researcher for a great PI. I could pick my hours. My labmates were fun people. I gained a lot of wet lab skills such as cell culture, qPCR, histology, and SEM.

    Cons

    Pay was low. My friend was offered a starting wage more than my wage at the time. Cells need to be babied.

    Interview

    Fairly straight forward. Interviewed via Skype. The RN Manager was easy to talk with, great conversation, asked lots of questions. She asked about nursing behavioral questions and then gave clinical scenarios afterwards
