I worked at Virginia Commonwealth University part-time (More than a year)
I was working as a student researcher for a great PI. I could pick my hours. My labmates were fun people. I gained a lot of wet lab skills such as cell culture, qPCR, histology, and SEM.
Pay was low. My friend was offered a starting wage more than my wage at the time. Cells need to be babied.
