I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (Richmond, VA) in May 2015
Interview
Physical Agility Test consisting of; 12 Push Ups, 12 Sit Ups, 50 m sprint and 1 mile run in 8 minutes

This was followed by a written examination, with an essay section and if passed ended with an on site one on one interview.
