I have been working at Virtuoso Sourcing Group full-time (More than 3 years)
It is very exciting being part of an organization that is growing. The executive team does a tremendous job in keeping their team members engaged by listening to their thoughts and ideas and also involving them in the current status and future of the company. The team members in the back office are friendly and quick to offer support.
Their Denver office is new, safe and conveniently located to many food and transportation options. Plus they provide reimbursement for parking or transportation.
They also provide professional development opportunities by sending employees to conferences and encouraging involvement in webinars and local events.
And the company welcomes change and ideas to promote sustainability and efficiency in their operations.
The physical office itself is kind of bland and doesn't necessarily promote a lot of creativity. I'd like to see more bright colors, bean bags, and communal workstations. Maybe even a box of fresh fruit every other day sourced from some of Colorado's local farmers.
Advice to Management
Continue listening to your frontline employees and keeping ahead of industry regulations and developments.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Virtuoso Sourcing Group (Tempe, AZ) in February 2016.
Met with heads of company from their corporate headquarters. One meeting with owner another with director of operations and IT. Meeting was very informal Q&A session in their Tempe Arizona office.
