WE ARE VISION CRITICAL

People matter. People have wisdom that is worth listening to, learning from and acting on. That is what drives us. Continuous customer intelligence to power companies with the collective wisdom of the people that matter to them: the people who work for them, buy from them and engage with them. Where others see surveys, faceless respondents, forums and posts, we see people. Communities of people. People with something to contribute. People who want to help you be better.

WHO IS VISION CRITICAL?

Vision Critical provides a cloud-based customer intelligence platform that allows companies to build engaged, secure communities of customers they can use continuously, across the enterprise, for ongoing, real-time feedback and insight. Designed for today’s always-on, social and mobile savvy customer, Vision Critical’s technology helps large, customer-centric enterprises discover what their customers want so they can deliver what they need. Unlike traditional customer research, which is slow, expensive and gathers dust on a shelf, Vision Critical’s customer intelligence platform replaces static data and cumbersome reports with real-time actionable customer intelligence that companies need to build better products, deliver better services and achieve better business outcomes.

A HISTORY OF EXCELLENCE

Founded in 2000 by President and Chief Product Officer Andrew Reid, and with strong leadership from former CEO and Executive Chairman Dr. Angus Reid, one of Canada’s most recognized entrepreneurs, Vision Critical has revolutionized the customer research industry during an era in which companies are increasingly looking to their customers for feedback and insight to drive business outcomes.

    Pros

    - A lot of opportunity to take initiative and contribute to new projects
    - Great HR team to discuss challenges and opportunities with
    - Exec's have a go-getter attitude
    - Peers are supportive and provide help when needed
    - Just completed acquisition of an awesome new company - Pressly!

    Cons

    - A lot of vet's have left, causing some unease among employees
    - Communication coming down from leadership is sporadic, aside from townhalls
    - New execs are finding their footing, which leaves a lot of the employees in the lurch
    - The product is good, but needs to be great. We are closer to this than ever, but I worry more people will leave in the interim

    Advice to Management

    - Let's motivate people with a positive message, we need to get people out of the negative headspace
