I have been working at Visual Meta full-time (More than 5 years)

The whole organization is constantly striving for excellence and is a very goal oriented. We are applying Agile workflows, constantly learning and trying to optimize our processes. Employees have options to learn and visit trainings and workshops offered by our corporate family or depending on their choice.

Colleagues are creative and lovely bunch of young people wanting the best for the product and the customer.

Social life in VM is definetelly blooming since I have been there which is more than 6 years. I am stying because I feel I can still grow and share my knowledge with others. VM offers people options to pursue their ideas and learn by taking the responsibility. We are supporting sports, mindfuness, social and charity initiatives. We have book club, we run, we cycle, we are practicing yoga together.

VM gave an opportunity to grow and learn to many people. We still have a traditional hierarchy system with many first time leaders - VM is investing into their education and supporting their growth. I am very happy I could learn so much there and become a better human.

I feel trusted by my colleagues and I trust them.

Also now we have a great flexi options to works from home or from anywhere else. VM is doing great in remote office activities and it is a great plus in my life balance.

The company is still searching their "it" which can be sometimes exhausting also exciting to work in the enviromnet where you constantly work on rediscovering the product. There is still time and space to grow and become excellent for VM.

The salary situation could be better so VM could keep good and smart people longer against the competition. I am missing more senior colleagues who can transfer the knowledge to juniors and the knowledge stays with us.

The hierarchy levels and structures are still a bit old fashioned and not really necessary in these times.

    Difficult Interview

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Visual Meta (New York, NY).

    1. Short interview with HR
    2. Really good and related problem to solve as case study. It was writing an application for specific problem. They gave me 2 days for that.
3.Technical Interview about and hour and half
    4.Final Offer
The whole process was well organized. They exactly knew what and who they wanted.
