Historically a very good organisation, leading the UK Payments market.
Friendly people, top table management very good and very visible.
Since the take over by Mastercard, the organisation has been in a constant state of reorganisation.
Future direction of the company seems to be confused
All focus is upon sales, with less thought on what happens next
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Vocalink (London, England (UK)).
Telephone interview followed by face to face.
The phone interview was brusque and direct.
However the face to face was disinterested and dismissive. It was patently obvious from the start that the interviewer wasn't interested in talking to me from the off - i.e. the early announcement that they were "very busy and don't have a lot of time", through the comment when I took my coat off of "oh make yourself comfortable then", and dismissive responses to any other answers.
Rather sad really.
