I have been working at Vultus (Sweden) full-time (Less than a year)
-The team is extremely welcoming and friendly.
-Opportunity to research relevant and up to date topics.
Uncertainty in advancement opportunities.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vultus (Sweden) (Lund, Skåne (Sweden)) in July 2018.
Was told only during the interview process that it was an unpaid position. Found it strange that such a small company had a budget for paying an unnecessary HR position (no company that small typically has an HR rep) but not to pay a qualified experienced employee within the scientific field.
Additionally, the interviewer asked very basic questions that could be found on Quora and seemed to have no experience whatsoever in actually interviewing people. The visual interview was held through Skype and it appeared that the interviewer was conducting the interview in her personal apartment. Was not asked anything technical as this person had no clear idea of what the business was actually doing nor the background of the position itself. I have never been interviewed before in such a terrible manner.
Despite the interview claiming I had the best qualifications for the position, they sent a very impersonal email stating the position went to another with no further clarification. Just absolute disrespect for potential employees. I could have conducted a better interview in my sleep and the hiring process is not even my educational background like it was for the interviewer.
