W2O Group – Why Work For Us?

W2O Group is a network of complementary communications, marketing and digital firms. it's network includes: WCG, Twist Mktg, Pure, Sentient, and Marketeching with a growing footprint og offices in the United States and Europe.

W2O Group is a powerhouse of multi-talented individuals who are hardworking and fun. Openness and honesty at all levels of the organization keep us nimble, allowing us to take risks and innovate together. Leadership promotes an atmosphere in which respectful dissent is encouraged in order to create the best solutions and the best work environment. The matrixed structure of the organization allows us to work on clients across a wide range of industries and practices, offering up countless opportunities to work on projects that align with personal interests and career aspirations.

The entrepreneurial spirit of the organization can be seen in all office locations and permeates everything we do. We strive to be the best, not the biggest. Our focus on collaboration allows us to rely on our work, trusting that clients will be drawn to our approach and attitude. Brainstorms often include people from a cross-section of backgrounds and titles, as creativity is an expected attribute of everyone within the agency. In order to maintain our focus on innovation, W2O emphasizes the importance of never being satisfied with our own status quo. If we ever think we have made it and the work is done, that is when we are in serious trouble.

We are not like your "typical agency". The entrepreneurial spirit of the organization can be seen in all office locations and permeates everything we do. We strive to be the best, not the biggest. Our focus on collaboration allows us to rely on our work, trusting that clients will be drawn to our approach and attitude. Brainstorms often include people from a cross-section of backgrounds and titles, and creativity is an expected attribute of everyone within the agency.

The "culture clubs" in each of our offices ensures for recreational time that not only enhances team building but also allows for more collaborative activities.

There are 6 core values we hold dear. Because let's face it, in the world of advertising, you need to know where you stand. We realized early on that these values mean a whole lot to all of us:

In 2012, W2O Group's CEO and Founder, Jim Weiss, created the W2O Group Center for Social Commerce which is a collaborative program between W2O Group and Syracuse University's Newhouse school. This was made possible through a generouse gift directly from Jim and is meant to expose Syracuse University students with the resources and training needed to successed in today's marketplace.

The Center for Social Commerce offers exclusive opportunities to it's students by:

  • Every semester W2O Group participates in Social Commerce Days. During this time, some of W2O's top leaders and subject matter experts visit the campus to teach class and meet directly with student to answer questions about their career, rising marcomms topics, and even resume reviews. This event acts as a catalyst to expose students to real-world experts, industry trends and best practices being used at W2O Group.
  • W2O Group is committed to keeping an open channel to the univerisyt to ensure they're training many of the Syracuse professors and students on some of the shifts in the industry.
  • W2O Group offers 2 sponsored summer internships in their New York office which is open to Newhouse students. This provides a true hands-on experience for students who get to work on client work and have an opportunity to attend the firm's SXSW events in Austin, TX. (Deemed #SXW2O events.) These student ambassador are exposed to both agency and in-house communications experience.
  • A handful of our interns were converted to full-time W2O Group employees once they graduated.

Testimonials from previous interns:

“My internship with W2O Group was an unforgettable experience. With their intensive training and cutting-edge strategies and tactics, I had the opportunity to work at the forefront of the industry. They gave me work that not only complemented my Newhouse training, but allowed me to be an even better PR practitioner,” said Carley Weinstein,
