I worked at WAI (Weidlinger Associates) full-time

    Pros

Great staff throughout the office are supportive and help challenge each other to learn and perform at their best level. The staff is very cohesive and works well together with minimal (but of course some) office politics. Great variety of project work from high rise to k-12 offers a variety of project responsibility.

    Cons

Can be long hours to excel among a competitive group. Office leadership may spend too much effort coming up with strategies for improvement/advancement of the office before enacting them.

    Advice to Management

Better recognition for excelling manager expectations!

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WAI (Weidlinger Associates) (New York, NY).

    Interview

Met with the boss, then the remaining principles, associate principles, and project engineers I would be working under. The interview was just a discussion of my education and experiences. A great opportunity to ask questions and learn about the firm.

    Interview Questions

    • There were not many difficult questions, I believe since it was for an entry-level position.   Answer Question
