Mission: “To empower our customers by creating the world’s best gaming and lottery experiences.”
I worked at WMS Gaming (More than 5 years)
Comfortable environment. Good benefits. Fun work.
Way too much middle management. Felt like nobody was really steering the ship or listening to feedback, which is weird because there was also plenty of micromanagement. Way too many "crisis moments".
Advice to Management
Fire half of yourselves, please.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at WMS Gaming (Chicago, IL).
Third-party recruiter presented me to HR followed by phone interview with VP; the VP phone interview was followed by in-office visit with interview team of five people that include senior executives. Finally met with met with the CEO for about 30 minutes. The offer came six weeks after the process started.
They didn't negotiate.
