I have been working at Walsh Construction full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Generous benefit/compensation, great emphasis on work-life balance, friendly, smart, and driven coworkers, excellent training programs, management that encourages growth.

    Cons

None that I have noticed. Occasionally management seems hesitant to give direction, but this is also a company whose employees are expected to be very self-motivated, go-getter type, so it makes sense that sometimes managers are a little hands-off. I prefer that to micromanagement!

Note: a lot of the other reviews on this page are for the Walsh Group, which is an completely separate company based out of Chicago that we are in no way affiliated with. Walsh Construction Co. only operates out of WA/OR, and is a great place to work.

I applied online. I interviewed at Walsh Construction (Prospect, KY) in April 2015.

    Interview

Met directly with future supervisor and HR representative. They were all very forthcoming concerning the hours and extent of expectations of the position. Explained benefits and position in detail.
