I have been working at Watkins Wellness full-time (More than 3 years)
Watkins is a fast-paced, results-based company that maintains a talented workforce. It is also a friendly company that cares about their employees and strives for a work/life balance. The products and culture are very interesting and makes a great place for career growth.
Watkins has grown so fast that not all the systems have grown with it, and some systems are still not optimal. However, continuous improvement tools such as Kaizen and Root Cause analysis make it possible to close gaps that are identified.
Advice to Management
Continue to strive and invest to close efficiency gaps by understanding the true cause of bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Watkins Wellness (Vista, CA) in February 2020.
The process took 6 weeks and was VERY thorough. The interview process went; phone screen with HR (10-15 mins), second phone interview with HR (45+ mins), phone interview with a direct manager (30 mins), in-person interview (3+ hours), offer call (30+ mins) and email, professional reference checks (YES, they call!), series of pre-employment phone calls and emails to verify employment for past 5 or so years and complete background check, and finally, a pre-employment physical and drug screen is done at a clinic in Vista. HR calls often throughout the process to update, follow up, and ask/answer any more questions. They are transparent in everything about the position and truly want to make sure you will be happy with the role. It's by far the longest and most involved interview I have ever done, which gave me extreme confidence that this career was the right choice!
