I worked at Waukesha Electric Systems (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good pay, mediocre benefits, employees make this place run. You could remove nearly all management and as long as your logistics are still in place, it would run flawlessly. Production employees are constantly catching engineering errors.

    Cons

No advancement. Most management clueless. If employees don't catch engineering errors they are reprimanded. There are a lot of engineering errors.

    Advice to Management

Learn about a field before you try to manage it. Playing golf with the big dogs does not make a good manager.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Waukesha Electric Systems (Tequesta, FL) in February 2015.

    Interview

Skype. Was a great interview. I like the whole idea of interviewing on Skype. I don't particularly like phone interviews. This gives them a chance to see me and my reaction to certain questions and I can see how they react to my answers.
