Necessary changes in the last year have taken some getting used to. There is not always the small, close network, startup feel there used to be, but that's to be expected!

Continue to communicate changes to the lower level employees
Really great process - I was invited in for an informal conversation which made it a much more natural experience during which I felt I got to know the agency and the Head of Strategy. I was able to ask plenty of questions and have a productive conversation. From there I was given the opportunity to meet with the President who took the time to talk openly and honestly about his vision for the agency, the team and the job opportunity. Again I felt very comfortable asking a lot of questions. I'd not been intending to take an agency role (nor was I actively looking) but the inspiring conversations I had with both people I met convinced me. The rest of the process was smooth sailing and now, several months in I love being a part of the team plus, everything we discussed has aligned with reality.
Most of this was discussed in the 2nd interview so we were aligned before the offer came through. They were flexible, understanding and I felt genuinely valued when discussing additional points. The terms are fair and reasonable.
