    I have been working at Wedgewood full-time

    Pros

    Some of the people posting on this site must have a strong negativity bias or a serious lack of perspective. Wedgewood is a special place.

    When I walk around the office I see nice, smart people working hard. I've always enjoyed working from home in the past, but since I started working at Wedgewood I prefer working in the office because I like the space and the people. I feel like I'm growing and thriving in the environment more than I have at any other job.

    The leaders are a very high integrity group. The extent to which they care about the employees and consistently try to do the right thing is rare.

    Cons

    Wedgewood is experiencing growing pains. This isn't surprising given its level of success and its recent increase in size and complexity. Many areas of the business are working hard to set up the structures of a larger company and prepare for the future. It's happening, and it's an engaging challenge for those who want to build something.

    Advice to Management

    Finger pointing won't get us where we need to go. Continue to focus on what's working and how to grow it. Remember that we're all on the same team and support each other as we step up to the challenges.

    Application

    The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Wedgewood (La Verne, CA).

    Interview

    A bit 2 faced 2 panel interviewers, was obviously looking for a certain kind of personality that would fit their open office type of atmosphere.

    I felt the interview was going OK. After about 20 minutes or so, the interviewers "excused themselves" to find "so and so" to introduce me to and they were busy in a "meeting" (I think they discussed ending the interview) (if that's the case, a simple thanks for coming in would have done just fine.)

    Was shown my way out and told HR would like my references and to hear expect a call back from them for a second interview process for next week.

    By the time I got home 4 hours later on the same day.....I received an email from HR saying they are moving another direction. (No phone call)

    I followed up to find out a reason , they gave no response.

    Was a blessing in disguise looking back at it, but they could use a little more professionalism. Any job interview doesn't deserve a not interested email on the same day of the interview after being told one thing, this was a bummer to find.

    One of the more confusing interview processes I've ever been through.
