I worked at Weight Watchers part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Director of Student Services is an amazing, senior level Special Education Administrator opportunity for a smart, self actualizing, panic-free and hard working individual with lots of teaching and supervisory experience, stamina, ability to multi-task and encyclopedic knowledge of teaching and learning, Education Law and Standard Operational Procedures. To be successful, one must be trustworthy and work well in teams with a high level of professionalism, collegiality and integrity. You will learn so much! You will grace others exponentially, with wide latitude for decision-making. Fabulous salary, generous fringe and medical coverage. Incredible rainbow at the end of the journey... A Pension! You are also part of a progressive, supportive union through contractual agreement. Ample opportunity for extra hours (per-session) if have interest.

    Cons

Make sure you can commit to frequent, daily appointments within the five boroughs of New York City. You will be very busy!
Do ensure you have appropriate experience in the classroom with a high level of success and efficacy before moving into this administrative position. It's very difficult to reverse the flow from Teaching to Administration

    Advice to Management

I have nothing but positive advice...there are no easy jobs here. Just continue to be flexible, positive and receptive to change.

Phone Screen then Skype call with the hiring manager. Questions were straight forward that asked you to review your background and a little about yourself to see if you were a good culture fit.
