    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Weil Gotshal (New York, NY) in April 2018.

    Interview

I met with the Research Services hiring manager first in NYC, was interviewed, and then went to HR manager in a different building. Everyone I met seemed kind enough, and I had a solid interview with both managers. They did a good job (from what I can tell) of explaining exactly their expectations. Also emphasized the culture at Weil as something they're proud of as they have apparently improved a lot there recently - I could see that as being true.

    Interview Questions

    • They started with "tell me about yourself" so have your elevator speech prepared. They wanted to know my interest level and my experience with research.   Answer Question
    • They asked me to give an example of a problem I have encountered while at my former places of employment. And then followed up with what I did to handle or manage the situation.   Answer Question
