    Legal Secretary - Corporate Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 11+ months. I interviewed at Weil Gotshal (Redwood City, CA) in March 2020.

    Interview

I received an email re scheduling a call with the HR Manager. Had that call, which went great. Next up was scheduling a meeting with the secretaries and attorneys. Poof! Job opportunity disappeared. If I hadn't contacted them, I wouldn't have heard back from them, and this is after the HR person was so happy to have met me and she was really looking forward to introducing me to the secretaries and attorneys. I've had this happen before and it is more than likely that it was a result of a manager I previously worked with that has bad mouthed me in the local legal community. So this firm has joined with others in blacklisting me, which is illegal, but so very hard to prove. Weil should not tolerate this behavior within their firm.
