Mission: Provide quality care to every patient with compassion, collaboration and innovation.
We are a public healthcare company caring for under-served patients in correctional settings, psychiatric hospitals and residential treatment facilities. Our journey begins with a belief in compassionate care and the way to succeed is by helping our people grow and succeed in their careers.
First things first, is it safe?
Working in corrections or psychiatric environments are more secure than a local ER or any public hospital setting.
Our environments are tightly controlled and secure, unlike an emergency room where there's little or no knowledge of a patient's state of mind. But that’s not reason alone to join Wellpath. We believe in caring for patients with compassion, respect and dignity just as we’d want if they were a member of our own families. That is what we do and we’re immensely proud of the people who see past stereotypes and care for their patients. They make us all proud. Join us today.
The one thing that comes to mind when you meet or work with people from Wellpath is that this group “has a good heart and is focused on doing the right things.” You can be proud to work for and with the team at Wellpath. Our clients know we are accountable and reliable. Our people can count on being treated fairly. Our patients receive the treatment they need and the respect they deserve.
When new team members join Wellpath, they are going to experience a new level of orientation. Wellpath understands maintaining our competitive advantage in the marketplace means we must effectively engage and retain our people. Critical to the future success of any new employee is her or his initial experience with the organization.
From our inception, Wellpath has adhered to a cultural philsophy we call 5-H:
Hunger: A desire for all personal and management to learn, teach, and grow in a team-supported environment.
Honesty: A commitment to the highest level of personal and professional integrity with our partners and our patients.
Hardworking: A fundamental willingness to work harder and smarter in the interested of providing consistently better service to our partners and patients.
Humility: A mindset that ensures we never lose sight of our identity and our loyalty to those we serve and support.
Humor: A stress release valve that is essential for a positive, passionate attitude, and a superior quality of life at work.
Put your military experience to work at an organization that welcomes veterans not just for your service, but because we know the training and teamwork you’ve experienced is a perfect fit for our culture. We believe in excellence and commitment, all the things you’ve trained for. Even as we continue to grow rapidly, we work hard to maintain a culture that is welcoming, nurturing and always military friendly.
We have high standards for talent and patient care and we recognize that the level of training, focus, and rigor you bring from the armed forces translates well to the opportunities at WellPath. We are always looking for talented candidates for positions such as:
We support a range of health professionals at correctional facilities, state psychiatric hospitals and other public health sites, as well as our home office team in Nashville, Tennessee to be available and quick to respond. Regardless of the role you choose, you'll be a part of making a difference in our patients' lives. Use your military training and pride in your work knowledge to help support our clinical staff and improve patient care.
Wellpath is a proud supporter of Operation Stand Down Tennessee in empowering Veterans to achieve their American Dream. Since 1993, Operation Stand Down Tennessee (OSDTN) provides a wide range of supportive services for honorably discharged veterans and their families throughout Tennessee – all at no cost to them. OSDTN assists all Veterans with personal ID needs, referrals to community agencies, benefits counseling, legal assistance, military records assistance, transitional housing, transportation, clothes and personal care items. The service center, located in Nashville, is also an employment hub that offers job placement assistance, computer training, resume development, professional development workshops, interview preparation and budget counseling. This Veteran Service Center is the only one in Tennessee recognized by the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Last year, 87 cents of every $1.00 donated helped more than 1,800 local Tennessee Veterans.
The company isn’t afraid to provide solutions for complex issues. Nimble and makes decisions quickly when necessary. Not a lot of red tape.
With the growth, comes challenges and certainly with new team members, the teams are learning to be open to change. That can be scary to employees but I think it’s worth it.
