I worked at Welocalize full-time (Less than a year)
Did not really work there long enough to know all the ins and outs. Good pay.
Training could be better. Paint a bit of a bigger picture, would help tremendously especially in the beginning.
Advice to Management
Same about the training. Overall good management, have always been very supportive.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Welocalize (San Francisco, CA) in August 2015.
The interview process consists of a preliminary screening phone interview, three localization tests and a Tryout. The recruiter Carolina Haro's friendly attitude puts you at ease during the phone interview: she really wants you to succeed, and just asks straightforward questions about your education level in your home country and your English skills. The localization tests are not difficult because you can localize the content following examples online. The other recruiter Kira Bernardi is also very responsive, and gives you very detailed instructions on how to succeed the Tryout.
