I worked at Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great opportunity to work within a large organisation among high-calibre peers.

    Cons

One of the most toxic environments I've ever witnessed. Fun of any kind was actively discouraged by the department manager to the point of being instructed not to "waste time greeting coworkers" upon arrival to head office when on an interstate trip. Work/life balance non-existent with constant pressure to work after-hours, and leaving late being encouraged as a badge of honor by the middle-management team.
