West is proud to announce that it received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. West joins the ranks of many other major U.S. businesses which also earned top marks this year.
The 2018 CEI rated numerous businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. West’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria results in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
We are pleased to announce the selection of Stacy Skradski and Wren Hanley, as the first West Corporation employees to be sponsored for the University of Nebraska (UNO) Executive Master of Science in Information Technology (EMIT).

Advice to Management
Promote visibility to the upper level management, to allow the team members to see the human side of the leadership.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at West Corporation (Wausau, WI) in February 2017.
From previously being employed prior. I was recruited for re-employement for which i was happy to return. My interview was hastened because of existing qualifications. I was moved up as they wanted to get me onto the team and the phones as soon as possible. The interview overall was a basic rediscussion of what has happened over the last year.
