I have been working at Westport One full-time (Less than a year)

I have been with Westport One now for just five (5) months. I made my first placement in 57 days from my date of hire. I have been fortunate enough or perhaps lucky enough to make 2 more since then and should make one or two more in the next few days. I can truly say, that for me I couldn’t be happier.
With respect to compensation, Westport One, is all about production. There are no participation awards. It’s simple really. If you produce, you are rewarded, and rewarded amply. Hit a mark, earn a paid lunch, and some time off. Hit another mark, go eat dinner at a fine restaurant. You can earn reductions in insurance contributions. There are monthly recognition meetings where you are acknowledged for your prior months achievements. Trophies, gift cards, the list goes on, and on. The crème de la crème is earning the “Pace Setter” trip. Produce x amount in 12 months and you earn a very nice trip for you and your significant other at a posh resort at the company’s expense. There is always a carrot dangling out front. It’s up to you to seize the opportunity. The monthly quota is quite reasonable, and the commission structure allows one to have unlimited income potential.
It should also be noted that this office thrives on continuous training. One will not fail from lack of training. Management combined has over 100 years of knowledge at our disposal. We have daily morning meetings. They are intended to be educational, inspirational, and motivational. They don’t always hit the mark. Hey, no one is perfect. Senior employees (CSAM’s, CSPC’s) are always giving of their time, and knowledge. For those who seek out these resources it is a never ending well. One of our managers is my de facto personal digital marketing assistant. I supply the raw material, and my monthly email blasts are dispersed at my whim. You truly are running your own business within a proven business model.
There is a true sense of camaraderie here. We are a merry band of kindred souls always having one another’s best interests at heart. We are involved philanthropically within the community. We have hosted a blood drive. We regularly participate in the "Light the Night" walk for the Leukemia, and Lymphoma Society. Whether it is the impromptu happy hour, chili cook off or company picnic (catered this year by “The Southerner” food truck) employee morale is imperative to management for fostering a healthy work environment.
The coffee is bad… I’m just saying. Espresso machine? Hello? The décor is cheesy, but hey, I don’t want my quota raised so I’ll live with it.
Management should seriously consider mobile phone reimbursement for AE’s and PC’s since more and more Millenial’s, Gen-Xer’s and even Baby Boomers have become reliant on mobile devices.
Not everyone makes it here. Fact is since I signed on in June 2017 I have seen nine employees leave, some on their own, some have been asked to leave. If you are afraid of cold calling and overcoming objection, then you should look elsewhere. If you need to have your hand held constantly, you should look elsewhere. We are loud, proud, and yes, we can be obnoxious at times. If your sensibilities are easily offended this might not be for you.
Advice to Management
The business model is proven. Phil, Debbie, Chris, and Jim keep on doing what is right, and not what is convenient. We do need to get a firmer grasp on our social media strategy and execute a plan company wide so that we are all on the same page.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Westport One (Belleville, IL) in May 2015.
Very fast and easy. Only took 30 min tops. The panel of 3 was very informative of the tasks and responsibilities that I would have. I felt very comfortable with sharing what experiences I could bring to the team.
