Pros
After working for other marketing agencies, getting to Wheelhouse was like a breath of fresh air. In the past, I’ve frustrated by lack of recognition, and lack of growth at larger companies; I was relieved that WH truly values their employees, with people at a leadership level making an effort to get to know me, and really recognizing when my efforts were making an impact. Through covid, I feel like the company went above and beyond to care for its people as best they could, and above all provided tremendous flexibility, and accommodation for anyone who needed it.
Cons
Wheelhouse still very much feels like start up, requiring people to wear many different hats, and often go above and beyond their job description. I’ve always found this really motivating, because I can see where there’s potential and leap into that role, but for others it could be challenging or intimidating!
