Wheelhouse is 100% the values they espouse. After over a year at the company, I'm still bewildered that I haven't found a "bad part" of the job. Constantly working on new and interesting things, learning from such a wide array of experts around me. Finding Wheelhouse was like finding an oasis in a desert.
Moving fast and learning new things every day may not be for some people, and it admittedly does occasionally feel like you're holding on for dear life. That - for me - is exciting and awesome.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Wheelhouse DMG (Seattle, WA) in May 2015.
I interviewed with an outside recruiter they had employed at the time for 15 minutes over the phone. I then met with Paul Weinstein, the VP of Operations and Client Services. We discussed what I had at my previous companies, what I like about what I did and what I hadn't. I could tell Paul was interested in me as a person, not just another interviewee. He was friendly and kind. After my interview with Paul, I returned a few days later to meet with Aaron Burnett, the president. Our conversation focused less on my skills/experience and more about what motivated me, what I was passionate about, what I was currently reading.
