Terrific company culture, supportive managers, hands-on CEO, every department treated as equals from tech support to product managers to upper management.
Perfect work/life balance, ability to telecommute when ill or due to inclement weather. Wonderful benefits such as paid vision and dental, low cost medical plans, HRA, 401K, 4 weeks PTO.
Opportunity to grow outside position and promote to different departments depending on education and interest. Supportive atmosphere to learn and grow with the company.
Holidays off different from other companies - ie. Christmas Eve.
Long work hours during busy season from August - October (but compensated with perks by management).
Vacation blackout during busy season.
Merged with Blackbaud.
Advice to Management
Bring back the company culture that made WhippleHill great and not let the Blackbaud culture overshadow the Bedford location so strongly. Many great personnel have left since the merger and it's not hard to see why.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WhippleHill Communications (Bedford, NH) in May 2013.
Applied through posting on Craigslist.org. Exchanged emails with management and then had initial phone interview. Second interview was with management and senior management, basic questions regarding work experience. Third interview was scheduled after online aptitude test was taken. Very in-depth, going over test results, how to handle irate customers, etc.
