I have been working at Whitaker Medical full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

AMAZING upper management. Jason (the VP) and Brian are the most caring people... they really want you to succeed. They are awesome about continuous training.

    Cons

With sales, the pay is low. AT FIRST. You need to work a year or so before making good money. Be patient, it does happen for many people. BUT they find many ways to compensate you, like extra time off for hitting your metrics, holiday parties, etc. Many great perks. I had to leave because I was a single new-grad living alone that needed a higher income. I MISS IT SO MUCH

    Advice to Management

Honestly, y'all are great. I don't have many complaints.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Whitaker Medical (Austin, TX).

    Interview

The phone interview was brief. I had previous experience in the industry. The face-to-face interview was very relaxed and laid back. There was a bit too much of over-sharing of personal life information. I am sure this was mainly to put me at ease. The interview questions were typical. It was obvious they were ready to hire me based on my previous experience. I am sure they just needed to put a face to the resume.

    Interview Questions

    • Are you comfortable with dialing the phone all day? How did you spend your time or manage your day in your last job.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

A higher base salary, initially, then a decrease when commissions started.
