In 1985, Bruce White established White Lodging with a single hotel and a singular vision – to provide incredible value and genuine care for associates, guests and owners. It’s a vision that has since inspired the steady and constant growth of our portfolio. After the first 10 years, White Lodging managed 16 hotels. From 1995 to 2005, that figure grew to 87.
As of today, White Lodging has developed over 120 hotels and provides management services for more than 165 premium branded hotels, which includes 26 brands and 30 restaurants in 19 states across the country. We are now one of America’s largest and fastest-growing hospitality development groups, and we remain privately held and committed to Mr. White’s original vision.

To date, White Lodging is the largest manager of the Residence Inn, Courtyard by Marriott and Hilton Garden Inn brands in the United States. It all starts with a standard application.
This is our first chance to get to know you and understand your interest in White Lodging. It is typically done by a hiring manager over the phone and can take about an hour.
You will be given two assessments to measure critical thinking and decision making. These help us uncover additional information that may not show up in a traditional interview or resumé.
IN-DEPTH TOPGRADING INTERVIEW
You will then spend a few hours with two current employees, who will assess your skills and experience, and evaluate your ability to excel in this position.
BUSINESS PSYCHOLOGIST INTERVIEW
If you’re considering a more senior position in hospitality management, you’ll meet with a business psychologist to review strengths and weaknesses that may not be evident in a traditional interview.

Lots of growth opportunity. Training is abundant and ongoing. Plenty of chances to cross-train and even task force.
Too much office politics at some of the properties.
