    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WilcoHess (Chesapeake, VA) in May 2015.

    Interview

They had a "job fair" (tables and small tent) in their parking lot. District manager and HR were present. My husband noticed it when he was getting gas. He came home and told me...15 minutes later I was walking out the door looking presentable with resume in hand. We talked pleasantly for maybe 20 minutes. Shook hands and left, next morning I got a phone call. Went in to speak with present manager. She was courteous and forthright. She did my background check on the computer and I drove to another location for drug test paperwork, then went to a nearby lab for the pee test. A week later I called to ask if results were in. They were. The job was expected to start the following week.
