I have been working at Wildflower Bread Company full-time (More than a year)
Great company all around. The founder Louis is extremely committed to his breadheads and his customers alike. The upper management , district managers and most GMs are extremely committed to helping any breadhead who wants to advance. If you want to learn new things and grow in the company they will help you do just that. If you put in the work here there is no where to go but up.They pay well and actually care about their employees, that is very hard to come by in the restaurant industry. The breadheads are almost always amazing. We are very picky on who helps represent our brand. The food is great and is very easy to stand behind, as is this company. I feel extremely fortunate to have found My Wildflower family. The amount I have grown in the last year is extraordinary and I know it wouldn't have happened probably anywhere else in this industry.
Even with safe space, communication is not always open honest or respectful. Sometimes it is non-existent. When there are leaders (GM AND AM) who don't want to have those tough conversations, it can get really exhausting trying to solve problems.
However I don't really see this as a con because it is not a company problem, it is a personell problem.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you all are doing. Upper management is great, now if we can get all AM and GMS on the same page we would be unstoppable.
Maybe be harder on interviews and watch prospective management team under stressful situations before hiring. One bad apple is all it takes..
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Wildflower Bread Company (Scottsdale, AZ) in February 2017.
Received a phone call for a quick work history overview and related experience. Was offered to come in for an on-site interview scheduled a few days later. I met with the Recruiting manager and Director of IT. After the on-site interview I was called the next day for a 2nd interview with the IT Support Specialist that I would replace and the Chief Financial office (CFO).

When it comes to bread-making, we are committed to the preservation of a true art form. That’s why we allow our handcrafted bread to rise slowly, taking 16-24 hours. All of our bread is mixed, shaped and baked daily by our skilled CPF team members!
