Award-Winning

Willamette Dental Group received the Press Ganey Success Story Award® in 2014, the first dental practice to win this prestigious achievement from Press Ganey®, a nationally recognized heath care patient experience measurement and reporting service.

A Transparent Experience

When selecting a dentist or specialist, it’s important to know who you're trusting with your care. That’s why Willamette Dental Group offers complete transparency of current patient experience ratings and comments for all dentists and specialists on their website, willamettedental.com.

In addition to patient feedback, the company website paints a full picture of each

  • Professional Photo

  • Languages Spoken
  • Average Patient Star Ratings from Press Ganey®

  • Office Location Information

Advancing: Quality Through Technology

The company is committed to quality care and improvement. Quality of care is at the foundation of the operations. Willamette Dental Group uses a formal process to systematically monitor and evaluate the quality, appropriateness, efficiency, safety and effectiveness of the care they provide.

Quality of Care is monitored and measured within the systems during each patient visit. This means that patients benefit from the quality standards and receive care tailored to their needs.

Electronic Dental Records

Willamette Dental Group uses the most versatile and powerful dental software available to manage everything within and between their dental offices.

This centralized system incorporates patient information related to:
  • Scheduling & Appointment Reminders
  • Electronic Charting
  • Diagnostic Coding
  • Treatment Planning
  • Insurance Benefits
  • Doctor-to-Doctor Communication
  • Lab Cases
  • Digital Imaging

Providers are able to access the most current patient information and connect in real-time with the tri-state provider network for consultations and additional insight. For example, a dentist in Boise, Idaho can do a live consult with a specialist in Tacoma, Washington while they each view the patient chart and digital images at the same time.

Willamette Dental Group works closely with software developers to refine the system, making sure that any opportunity for quality improvement is put into
practice as soon as possible.

Innovative Dagnostic System

Willamette Dental Group leverages software to work alongside clinicians and support them by providing externally validated treatment recommendations based on each patient’s unique circumstances.

The company is also currently the only group dental practice in US to use diagnostic coding system, developed with Harvard University. In addition, they use CAMBRA and PEMBRA©. These are innovative clinical decision support programs that allow accurate and consistent diagnosis and treatment.

Digital X-Ray Technology

Patient safety and convenience are very important in supporting the vision to be the provider of choice for patients. With that vision in mind the company recently shifted to an advanced “Rectangular Collimation” digital x-ray technology, reducing patient radiation exposure up to 50% compared to traditional circular collimation digital x-rays.

In addition, the technology update also allows patients and providers access to digital x-ray images across any of their locations.

 CAMBRA & PEMBRA©

Innovative clinical decision   support programs allow accurate   and consistent diagnosis and   treatment. Each patient receives   a comprehensive oral health   evaluation and risk assesment to   form the basis of their Proactive   Dental Care Plan. Read   more here.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Willamette Dental Group (Portland, OR) in February 2017.

    Interview

The process is lengthy but very detailed and organized. I was always aware of what steps needed to be taken and before hired they make sure you know every aspect of the job you are applying for and are there to answer any questions you might have. One of the best companies I have ever interviewed for.
