    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Willamette University full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great place to have a position. The ethos at Willamette is supportive of employees. Tuition benefits to children of longer-term employees.

    Cons

Though liberal arts colleges are being challenged in the present environment. In a period of contraction, so permanent positions are hard to come by.

    Advice to Management

Maintain transparency. Continue to find ways to be supportive since your employees give their best. Don't renege on agreements.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Willamette University (Salem, OR) in April 2013.

    Interview

Sent in a cover letter and an interview, had single in-person interview. Mostly asked simple situational questions. The interview was mostly just talking about why I wanted a job with admission and why I was enthusiastic about the university. I had to explain what I didn't like about the university.
