    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wilsonart International.

    Interview

Received call from national recruiter stating my qualifications matched up with needs of position. Interviewed with regional manager a week later and had good discussion. I was told three people were needed to be identified as candidates before moving to final round. (this seemed a bit odd, this isn't a government agency). Regardless, got call from recruiter a week later that they had decided to move forward with an internal candidate instead.
Recruiter told me she was unaware of this late minute addition. Appears company was merely "checking the box" and had no intention of hiring outside. Waste of time for all.
