    Pros

    The Software has had over 30 years of configuration making its functionality great.

    Cons

    So many things going on in the company that resources are sometimes limited but you will learn to cope and take care of things. On the plus side, gives you more responsibility.

    Advice to Management

    Keep in the direction of changing these environment to match today's culture. Currently moving in that direction and doing good.

    Application

    I applied through other source. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Windward Software (Chicago, IL) in January 2012.

    Interview

    The hiring and interview process was not explained to me by the company so no formal process was defined. I contact the company to apply for a position I saw on their website. Spoke first to the Sales Manager who then sent my resume to the Talent Acquisition person. After a wait of one month, and me prompting them, I finally set up a phone interview with 2 Sales Managers. Neither of the Managers knew how to proceed with the interview or did the ask a lot of questions during the interview. It was unorganized and had no sense of direction, it seemed like and inconvenience to them to go through this process. I found that I knew more then they did about their client base and what was needed to perform the job. I felt very wary of the company and did not get a lot information from them .
