Mission: Creating the Best Memories... Again and Again.
I worked at Winter Park Resort full-time (More than a year)
Great team to work with
Boss was supportive, and took a great effort to get to know the employees, communication was excellent and you really felt like part of a team and family, like a home away from home.
Pay was lower, but understandable with the position I was in. Only reason why I didn't stay longer really.
Advice to Management
Give more raises for employees that show their worth, so you keep them. I am not sure what it is like now, but unfortunately being a seasonal job, I didn't stay longer not knowing if I would have a job the next season (almost positive I would) but salary didn't help.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Winter Park Resort.
I interviewed from out of state and the interview was conducted over the phone. Previous to the phone conversation I had sent in a copy of my resume and that was reviewed during our phone conversation. Additional questions were asked pertinent to what the job called for.
I was straight out of college and excited to get the job. The negotiation phase didn't entail much as I was just excited to get the job.
