    Pros

So much to do in WiredTree and various types of responsibilities. You get to learn a lot... unfortunately the company was sold...

    Cons

Pays little less for what you do... managers were not that great before. Last manager was amazing. I believe WiredTree would be even better under his management.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at WiredTree (Chicago, IL) in November 2014.

    Interview

A variety of basic Linux questions all admins should know. Also asked questions about experience and knowledge of compiling your own kernel. The whole process took one day. I applied online via Craigslist and received a call for an interview the next day. After going to the interview, I received a call with an offer before I even got home from the interview.

    Interview Questions

    • What experience do you have with Linux   1 Answer

    Negotiation

There is no real negotiations. They had a set pay.
