    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at WirelessCar AB (Gothenburg (Sweden)) in October 2017.

    Interview

I received an automated/mass email stating I had been selected for a first round of interviewing. I then received a (what seemed to be) mass email from the hiring manager (CEO) for my salary requirements and a link to an "online interview" tool. Since WirelessCar is owned by Volvo Group you can count on it being a very impersonal and arrogant process, which it was. The online interview was the worst thing I've ever encountered. You login with preset credentials and then you get about 7-10 questions in sequence. You have 30sec to read each question and then 1min to answer them...and you are video recorded by your laptop's camera (or phone, if you choose that). A month later I received a form email saying they had selected a different candidate. One of the worst experiences I've had.

    Interview Questions

    • They were all very generic...since the whole process has nothing to do with you personally. They're just trying to find the person with the lowest salary requirement who can reasonably tick the boxes.   1 Answer
