Cons
As much as remote work can be a pro, it can also be a challenge for people who are not self-motivated. If you don't know how to work on your own without a manager looking over your shoulder, the role isn't going to be a good fit for you. There is BIG money to be made on the sales team, BUT it is tied to performance. The salary is enough to take care of your necessities, but if you want to make 6 figures (I did it in my first full year on the sales floor) you have to be willing to work and get results. Some Account executives are making $125k plus annually, An average Account Executive will still earn $80kish. At the end of the day, this is still a job. I love 90% of what I do and dislike 10%, but it is very fun to get to talk to people from all over the world every day and offer exciting marketing opportunities to them. The 10% of that I do that I dislike, if you can wash that stuff off quickly and get back to the 90%, you will do well at Wishpond.
