ProsThe Company lives its core values of High Performance, Supportive, Focused, Balanced and Industry Leading
ConsThe growth of the Company has created a few challenges but it has created numerous opportunities for its employees.
I applied through an employee referral I interviewed at Woolpert (United States)
InterviewI was told at the very beginning by the interviewer that I was a "Geology failure" because I chose to go down the route of GIS and not in geology. The other interviewer was asking me about specific software and that even though I used it that it's not the same because I did it through academia and not with a company. He also asked me about graduating with a certain rank and then tried to down play my accomplishments by implying that if it was specifically on grades alone and not special studies with a professor that it was not the same. He also said that if hired I would be shadowed but not to worry too much about help because you can use google to help you with the job. The other interviewer was telling me that this job is basically something that I wouldn't like which is weird because she spent the first 10 mins of our discussion bragging about how great of a company it is and how she works with a great crew of people. I spent almost a year trying to get an interview with this company and having high expectations for them and when it happens they're condescending and the main things I get out of it is "you're a failure, you're not who you say you are, your achievements mean nothing, and you will hate this job". I will never apply with this company again.
