Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Leadership team is amazing but as the company continues to grow they need to push more decision making down and put more structure in place. Continue to invest in support functions and empower them

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Workato (United States) in Nov 2021

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn regarding the Commercial Account Executive role. I had not heard about Workato prior to that but became intrigued because of the remote work options, competitive salary. The company culture also drew me in, a lot of the interviewers seem genuine. The product seems solid and a good place to be in the SaaS space.

The interview consisted of a few rounds, an initial screening with the recruiter, an interview with the hiring manager, an interview with two sales executives, and a mock presentation. The recruiter was great and kept an open line of communication during the process. Everyone that I spoke with was extremely friendly and humble. I appreciated their openness .
