I was always surrounded by positive, like-minded people. We had pizza once a month, BBQ in the summer, casual Fridays and a very relaxed work atmosphere. There was a good balance between work and fun!
Sometimes communication is just OK.
I applied online. The process took 6+ months. I interviewed at Workplace Essentials in January 2013.
I responded to a help wanted ad at careerbuilder.com in July of 2012, in January of 2013 I received a phone call with a short interview. A sales manager and HR representative flew to my city for a f2f meeting and interview. It seemed more of a 'getting to know you' social function than an interview. None of those crazy: "tell me about a time when..." situational or behavioural questions. I told my 'professional story' which seemed to match what they were looking for. The interview took about an hour and then they phoned me later that day with a job offer, which I accepted.
I didnt negotiate as its mostly a commission based job. There is a small salary, so small that it wasnt even worth negotiating.
