WorldStrides was founded in 1967 by a middle school teacher from Chicago. Now, nearly 50 years later, WorldStrides boasts a team of over 750 professionals throughout the world, each with their own enthusiasm for education and travel. WorldStrides is committed to giving every student the opportunity to travel with us to amazing destinations. We offer several fundraising and financial assistance tools to help students make their trip a reality. Our most successful fundraising tool, the Gift of Education, helps thousands of students each year raise over a million dollars for their trips. I have been working at WorldStrides full-time (More than a year)
Love what I do! This is a hard job but I get to change the lives of teachers and students!!! The support we get is awesome for selling and training. The senior guys who train us, Fred and Steve are super motivating and helpful.
The hardest part of this job is getting teachers on the phones. We hardly ever get any leads so it is all cold calling.
Advice to Management
Keep being motivating and supportive and get us some more leads!
I applied online. I interviewed at WorldStrides.
The woman was very professional and laid back on the phone interview. However after she advised she would contact me regardless if the COO would like to meet with me, she did not. I had to follow up with her, which I found unprofessional.
