WorldStrides – Why Work For Us?

We Believe in Dreaming Big

It’s how our company was born, and it’s what we hope to give all the students who travel with us: confidence and big ideas for the future, based on what we can learn from our journey today. Our team of professionals are passionately and personally committed to providing safe, once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences. From educational specialists to logistical and destination specialists, our knowledgeable and dedicated staff deliver a quality experience every step of the way.

WorldStrides was founded in 1967 by a middle school teacher from Chicago. Now, nearly 50 years later, WorldStrides boasts a team of over 750 professionals throughout the world, each with their own enthusiasm for education and travel. Our casual environment is filled with passionate people who work hard and have fun at the same time. From summer picnics to team outings and employee travel programs, WorldStrides offers an atmosphere that our employees love to return to each day. We nurture a supportive, positive environment by hiring talented individuals who share the belief that we are truly providing once-in-a-lifetime experiences to thousands of students and teachers each year. We invite you to join us in our mission of igniting personal growth through travel for students at every stage of development.

WorldStrides is committed to giving every student the opportunity to travel with us to amazing destinations. We offer several fundraising and financial assistance tools to help students make their trip a reality. Our most successful fundraising tool, the Gift of Education, helps thousands of students each year raise over a million dollars for their trips. There are also scholarships available for students traveling on domestic and international programs. Please visit our special fundraising website for more information.

I have been working at WorldStrides full-time (More than a year)

Love what I do! This is a hard job but I get to change the lives of teachers and students!!! The support we get is awesome for selling and training. The senior guys who train us, Fred and Steve are super motivating and helpful.

The hardest part of this job is getting teachers on the phones. We hardly ever get any leads so it is all cold calling.

    Advice to Management

Keep being motivating and supportive and get us some more leads!

I applied online. I interviewed at WorldStrides.

The woman was very professional and laid back on the phone interview. However after she advised she would contact me regardless if the COO would like to meet with me, she did not. I had to follow up with her, which I found unprofessional.
