GROWTH - WE INVEST IN YOU
Wunderman is an exciting place to work, with opportunities for talented people to learn and grow with us in offices around the world. No matter who you are, we believe that everyone needs a work/life balance to truly thrive. We don’t just talk about this, we take action and great pride in providing a balanced and healthy environment—which we believe is good for all of us.We believe in learning, connecting with your colleagues and career development. Here are some examples of how we turn these beliefs into programs for YOU!
A refreshing new approach to employee reviews, YOU Time is your time to discuss career and life goals with your manager. It's also a time to recognize important accomplishments. YOU Time is our innovative global program that encourages growth at work and in your personal life.
Your success matters. Rather than conducting traditional reviews in airless meeting rooms, managers at Wunderman take their employees out of the office for real one-on-one time.
Every year, all around the world, everyone takes a day to participate in community service activities.
No matter the cause, we believe in giving back to our community and our people.
Travel is an inspiration, sparking great ideas, new thinking and deeper personal connections.
That’s why we give everyone a chance to win a week-long trip to visit offices in other cities or countries.
A dynamic learning environment, Wunderman University gives everyone access to a wide range of courses, tutorials, training, and educational resources.
Use Wunderman University to build your knowledge and expertise, in order to fulfill personal and professional goals.
YOU Time is an ongoing effort across Wunderman’s network to support professional development and personal interests. We recognize that to succeed as a business and a culture, we need to support both the personal and professional sides of our people.
We introduced Because Conversations Matter as part of YOU Time. And we asked managers and employees to go off-site and have an open dialogue about goals and what’s needed to be successful. Building a culture where we are inspired to be our best selves at work every day is only the beginning.
Wunderman Unlimited is a program that showcases the incredible and interesting people that work within our agency. Every week we highlight an employee from across the globe calling out what makes them unique. Wunderman allows our employees to bring their whole selves to work and we celebrate it!
YOUR TIME TO SHINE
We want you to feel that when you come to work, you come to make a difference. Not just to us, to the agency, the date to day doings, to our clients. To you as well. The stuff you enjoy and want to do more of. The things that make you tick, The ideas that get you out of bed in the morning. The things that drive you. We want you to be able to fulfil all of your ambitions and play to your strengths, personal and professional.
WUNDERMAN DAY 2017
Banding Together for Wunderman Day
At such a large global agency, it can be difficult to feel a real sense of community, but Wunderman Day is how we make sure our 10,000+ employees around the world feel connected.
This year’s theme, Band Together, was a true testament to the power of our network as we celebrate a year of growth through partnerships, acquisitions, new business and award-winning work. There is a lot of work that goes into Wunderman Day: shipping culture boxes all over the planet, contributing songs to the official playlist, building buzz leading up to event, and just killing it on social (we’re looking at you, Austin and Dhaka!). We never could have done it without our amazing Wunderman Day event manager, Michelle Curtis, and the help of all the office leads and social media stars who really went above and beyond to ensure this year’s Wunderman Day was another overwhelming success.

Advice to Management
Align goals for growth, and enable amazing talent to push the limits.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wunderman (Chicago, IL).
I submitted my resume via the Wunderman website on a Friday night and first thing Monday morning I was contacted by Genevieve, the Wunderman recruiter, to schedule a screener call to discuss my background. Genevieve was not only a complete pleasure to work with, but she was attentive, quick to move the process along and eager to fill the role.
Interviewing while still working for your current employer can be stressful, but Genevieve made the process seamless by making sure we were scheduling interview times with the team that fit perfectly with my work schedule without raising any unnecessary red flags with my employer.
Following the screener interview, Genevieve facilitated a phone interview with two account leads in New York, an in-person interview with the individual I was taking the place of during maternity leave, as well as an in-person interview on-site with the client.
Genevieve was eager to hear about my experiences with the team at each turn and was fast to pass along a very well-received final decision from the team. Following initial offer, the paperwork process was quick and efficient with the ball kept moving!
Genevieve's professionalism, approachable personality and clear passion for connecting individuals to the right role is a true asset to her organization! I truly enjoyed working with her!
